Default Well my friend can't drive.

Well my friend has a black 04 sti and I Just found out what he ran when he got the car. Turns out he turned a high 12 second car into a 14.2 car. After I found this out I was screwing around with him saying he should race my S and we should film it. Would be hella fun to have a stock s2k beat a stock sti. Just thought you guys would get a laugh at this. I know I'm not the best driver but I still don't understand how you get low 14's with this car. Later.

if he just got the car, and was his first time at the track, i can easily see this happening. it takes time to learn a car at the track as compared to the street. when i had my EG with a B16 boosted, it took me a few times to get into the 13's. then i had it built, 1st time at the track i was still running 13's because i was not used to the setup and new clutch.

He had the car for about 5 months. I'm def one for it takes time believe me when I got the S I was used to shifting at 3 grand and 6,500 in my turbo neon. It was kinda of weird at first for me shifting at 4 then taking it to 9 for power. I thought I was going to blow the car up lol .

This was at English town I believe in Jersey so elevation and sea level would be average I would think.

lol we all no what the fastest car is between the two. I just made this post cause I thought it would be funny to race him and try to beat him now before he starts getting use to the car and starts to mod it (he has an endless supply of money, the family is loaded). As for me teaching him I think not lol. I'm a average driver especially in the S til I get use to it some more. Thats why I want to start doing the professional classes for autocrossing so I can really learn how the car behaves. Did my time at dragging time to try something else. Always looking to expand my knowledge in all that is cars. Next on the chopping block that damn tow and heel shifting it's a pain. Later.
