Default Weight gain?

I'm about 5'8' 130lbs. I've always been slender growing up, and could never put on any weight. The thing is, I eat everything in sight!!I guess I have a high metabolism, I don't know. What types of foods do I need to be eating in order to do this? How often should I eat and what should I stay away from? I think I would feel better about myslef if I gained a little weight, so, anyone who is knowledgeable with this, please shoot me in the right direction!

Thanks Greg

I'm looking for the same info. I'm trying to use weight gainers, but I'm not drinking them right or something, they're gross anyway

Thanks for posting.

work out; low reps, heavy weights. be consistent and do this atleast 4-5x a week. you'll put on muscle mass.

then eat lots of protein.

egg whites are very good. try eating 4 egg whites in the morning, with just 1 yolk for flavor.

tuna is also very good. like tuna sandwiches.

steaks are of course also good.

don't just stop when you're full. eat past full without getting to the point that you're miserably stuffed.

once you get serious about working out, try Creatine. I put on 7-10 lbs very quickly when I started putting it in my protein shake.

but I'm serious about the working out part. it's the best thing you can do for yourself, but you won't start reaping the benefits for atleast a year. just stick with it.

Lots of protein and carbs... get a weight gainer from GNC or something too, lots of protein and carbs in those.. and creatine helps too if you are working out as well..

List what you eat a day. Bet you aren't eating enough and if you do one day, bet you aren't eating like that everyday.

If I am wrong, why don't you try an all you can eat buffet everyday.

The thing is, weight gain, if done properly and I assume you don't wanna be gaining too much fat, will be slow. But the thing is, whenever you bulk on weight, you will inevitably gain some fat so don't get discouraged like some people do .

you can sit in bride and mugen racing seats without any compromise.

Before you change anything go to the doctor and discuss the situation. A blood test will rule out any problems (thyroid, etc.) and then you can see if changes in diet and exercise will help you gain some mass.

man dont' worry about gaining weight. im 5'11" and only weigh 130 pounds. think about it as a "weight reduction". all the racers in japan are lightweights, theres a reason to that
