As long as it wasn't a dream, then I'm good.
I hear next will be the last season. I have this feeling Deb is going to realize who Dexter is. She's going to wind up taking care of Harrison, and she's either going to be with Dex, or take him down.

“I just feel like him,” he told Police, referring to the TV shows main character.
17-year-old Andrew Conley showed no remorse when he confessed to Police that he killed his 10-year-old brother Connor. While also telling police that he took his cues from the serial killer TV show Dexter.
The murder occurred when the two boys were left home alone on Saturday night at their residence in Ohio County. Andrew told police he placed his younger brother in a headlock until he lost consciousness. He then proceeded to continually choke his brother over a twenty minute period until he was spewing blood from his mouth and nose.
Andrew then told police without any emotion in his confession that he taped a plastic bag over his brothers head, dragged him down the stairs by his feet and proceeded to smash his head several times into the ground and then placed him in a trunk which was later found in a local park on Sunday night.
After killing his brother he headed over to his girlfriends house, presented her with a “sweetheart” ring and hung out. She described him as “happier than he’d been in a while.”
While Andrew Conley can’t face the death penalty since he is only 17 years old, he will be charged as an adult and we’re assuming life without parole will be given to the homicidal psychopath.

It was inevitable. Since the killing in no way resembles Dexter's methods or rationale you've got to assume the kid simply used the a show as the basis for his inevitable temp insanity plea. Now covering his tracks that way he DID learn from TV
