If someone is tailgating me and I have nowhere to go then I also slam on my brakes, depending on how I feel that day. If there is traffic ahead of me and around me, why tailgate me? I can't go anywhere but slow down.

No to sound like a dick, but this is your problem (driving in the far left lane)... .It is not a driving lane... it is a passing lane... you pass quickly and move back to the proper lane......

I am constantly having to flash my lights at people driving (not passing) in the PASSING lane.... I am sure they think I am pissed off..... but...... in Germany you get arrested for "driving" in the left lane.
