Default Unsafe Start Ticket

Hey not sure if this is the correct area to post this, but i figured it would do.

Anyways, anyone know anything about an unsafe start ticket? i live in TX in the DFW area

I read online somewhere else that unlike speeding or exhibition of speed etc. this isnt a misdemeanor, its only an infraction.. differences? One can hope, its just a civil fine like a red light camera and has nothing to do with insurance *crosses fingers*

Also does anyone know generally how much this ticket costs?

thanks for any help, and sorry if im in the wrong area

What did you do, specifically, to get the ticket? Chirp your tires when you started moving?

I've gotten that ticket before, but I also received a speed contest ticket at the same time. So i had to go to court regardless. But I'm pretty sure if i remember correctly that it is points on your license. Which would effect your insurance if you have accumulated to many.

redlined under an overpass from a redlight lol

was dumb, i didnt chirp tires or even spin my wheels, just took off and floored it

didnt see the cop, but i had no idea you could get anything for doing that.. speed limit was 45, i threw it into 5th afterwards so i didnt speed

and we dont have points for tickets over here as far as i know.. just pissed because i been granny driving for a probation ticket in that city, and it was over on halloween, and the first time i drive my car hard for 3 months i get this stupid ticket.. cant get a break

I've heard of that ticket. It was called something else though, I forgot. Good luck fighting it.

Look up what constitutes an "unsafe start", or evidence of one. Redlining your car at some point is not necessarily unsafe (and I wouldn't admit to redlining it, either - just say you revved it up to hear it as you went under the underpass).

A lawyer can probably get rid of this for less than the cost of the ticket.

You need a trial lawyer.
