Traffic ticket in PA?
I was in Philadelphia and recieved a traffic ticket for not using a turn signal, which was a BS ticket anyway. I was profiled for driving a Honda to close to the races area when in fact I was dropping a friend off at his house. Anyhow, I admit I didnt signal , but I was in a right hand turn only lane that was sort of like an off ramp anyway. I could only go one way.
My first question is, is this a moving violation and will I recieve points for it?
Second question is, this happened April of 2002. Yea, 3 years ago and they finally sent me a letter saying if I dont pay I will have a warrent out. I went to the court house a few days after I recieved the ticket attempting to schedule a court date, but they never sent me one. Now 3 years later they send this BS.
What should I do? Is there a statue of limitation for how long its been? What can I plee to avoid the points?

I got a ticket for not using a turn signal. It got thrown out because I didn't use it since there were no cars around when I turned, hence common sense wise it wasn't needed. Glad the judge actually used common sense instead of being a robot.
It's probably all gonna depend on the judge.

Out of state moving violations are 2 points for NJ. Failure to signal is a moving violation. So, you will receive 2 points. PA will tell NJ. If you are lucky enough to have a PA license, and receive an out of state violation, no points. PA does not care, but NJ does. Go figure. Anyway, try to go to court and fight it. Good luck.
