Time to change email address?

Time to change email address?
I am thinking it may be time to change my email address. I get lots of spam (over 100/day). But everybody does right?
The reason I am considering this is that I have started receiving Spam from myself!
No, My computer is not infected, hacked or zombied (I have made sure of that). The emails that supposedly come from my address are generated somewhere else in the world, have a different return to address and pass through servers I have never heard of.
I get one or two spam emails from 'myself' every month and about the same amount of 'undeliverable' or 'your attachment is infected' emails from mail admins. All from addresses that do not exist in my address book or I have ever heard of.
I am seriously thinking of changing addresses but I have had the same address for 9 years and I am too attached to it...

I only get about 20 a day.. still sucks ass.. I too don't want to change my email, I just live with it..
what pisses me off is I can mark all these as spam, but my ISP, or any other I know of will let my upload that and stop it before it even starts.

You really should consider one of the online E-Mail services. Yahoo offers pop mail access so you can also download your Email. You can pay them to have your own domain as well. In over 2 years of using Yahoo Plus mail, I've never received spam that wasn't my own fault. They have very good filters. However, my pop3 Adelphia account gets loads of spam for no apparent reason. I really like GMail's interface as well.
