A coworker just asked, in all sincerity, "Haven't scientists found subatomic particles which are both positively and negatively charged at the same time?"

I've never heard of such a thing, nor is there any reason I should have. He seems to think he's read this somewhere. (No flames here--I know all about the pseudo-science websites and so on.)

This is a question for those of you who really do know about the cutting edge of subatomic physics. Has something like this come up from a credible source?
