May be old news to some of you... but i just got this in my work email today (I work for Cingular):


Effective12-20-2006 all cell phone numbers will be released to telemarketers which allows them to call your cell phone and you will be charged for the call. Below is the phone number and web site for the National No Call Registry.
You must use the cell phone that you want registered to make the call or go to the web site and do all your cell phone numbers from there. Your phone number will remain on the registry for 5 years. If you change your cell phone number you have to register your new number.

Just put your number on the do not call registry - cell or not, it can't hurt, and if some telemarketer does call your cell, you can go after them!

 

when the telemarketer calls, it deletes sector zero on your hard drive and you lose everything! this happened to a friend of a friend of a friend of mine.

 

Also starting on this date, telemarketers can have sex with your spouse if you don't register them on the do not f*** my spouse list.

 

And with that news I'm leaving my job and becoming a telemarketer, and waiting outside your house.
