565 mph - there's a trick to doing this (yes, I know how to spank my monkey).

Click and hold the "spanker". Drag your mouse slowly off the right side of the screen (still holding down the mouse button). Go around the monkey screen and slowly move your mouse cursor back onto the screen just behind the monkey. The sudden difference in screen location will give you a gigantic amount of "MONKEY-SPANK".
