I was taking a backroad home, going down an open stretch of a 4-lane road (two on each side), posted limit maybe 45mph. I had a rough day, and just got broke loose of traffic, so I took it up to 70 to vent a little frustration.

I start slowing down for a stop light ahead, when much to my surprise, I notice a cop going the opposite direction. he does the u-turn, and gets behind me as I pull up to the stop light.

light turns green, and I go right up to the speed limit, cop still on my ass. then, for what ever reason, he turns off his headlamps for a hundred feet or so, and turns them back on.

I come up to the next light, which turns green as soon as I pull up to it, and as I go staight thru the light, the cop turns right.

yeah, lame story.

 

They gotta do something while the fresh set of donuts are cooking

 

Maybe he wanted to go from a 30 roll?

 

Should've downshifted, honked 3 times and booked it.

 

but I'm already on deferred adjudication for 6 months. can't blow it.

 

Funny story:

I had my first s2k for about 3 months, and I'm on my way home from work. It's around 5, and still bright. So I'm going over a hill, and I see a Ford Crown Vic coming up on me. All black. I'm thinking to myself "No way this dumbass wants to race." So what do I do? What the shit do you think I did? Down shifted to 3rd, got it up to about 50-55 (was going 35.. in a 35). Anyways, he gets along side of me and I hear a "BWOOP BWOOP" I look over ..........









It was a detective in an unmarked car. He says over the loud speaker "SLOW DOWN" I wave and make a U-turn and peace out.

 

tried to race a crown vic? pure genius.....

 

NO. It was actually a "Police Interceptor." They've got a beefed up 350, shocks, sways, and some other shit. Get it right, it would have been a nice race

Elwood: It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
