The only time I ever got shaky was when I didn't have any caffeine.

I gave up drinking caffeine about 3 years ago. Not from coffee (never drink coffee), but from Dr. Pepper. Granted, soda doesn't have as much caffeine as coffee. And it may have been the sugar too. At the time, I didn't notice it. But once I stopped I started to realize how much I drank. I was averaging a 12 pack a day of Dr. Pepper.

It got to the point where I would be laying in bed at night unable to sleep...all restless and stuff. I would go out to the kitchen and kill a Dr. Pepper really quick. Then I could go to sleep. It actually calmed me down.

It took me about 3 weeks before I felt normal again. I switched to Sprite because it was caffeine free. About 6 months ago, I stopped drinking soda all together. At work I have a 1/2 gallon jug that I fill with water. I usually drink abut 3 of those in a work day.

You guys are weaksauce.

Back when my friend and I were Freshmen in College, we would go to a local Vietnamese "Hang out" place. We would probably have about 2 or 3 Cafe Sua Da each, in about an hours time.

I have the same issue but only on an empty stomach and if I kill a pot. I just eat something and it calms me down

a friend of my drank 2 2liter bottles of mountain dew in about 8 hours.

needless to say he was all twitchy and paranoid.
so we took him to the hospital and the doctor told us that he had to stay over night.
