The first Salmon run came a little early this year...but who cares!

Took the day off on Tuesday to go fishing (in Prince William Sound, AK), as you can see it paid off.

Guess what I'll be grilling for the Memorial Day party?

As much as possible! I don't drive it in the snow and ice, so it really cuts down on the driving "season". Although, during the summer, the Sun really never sets so I guess it makes up for it? Going for a drive at dust (say around 1 am - 4am) is always a blast as the air is cool and there aren't any gray hair tourist on the road "driving" the rented RV's!

Believe it or not, there are some great roads up here with views to (almost) die for.

Hmmm, 6th gear at 9000 rpm.....

Just like everyone else in this forum, speed limits don't mean squat, unless of course the radar detector is making funny noises.

Posted is 65, or just past the 2nd to 3rd gear shift!

No, that would be the Japanese, I think they call it Sushi!

I seriously doubt Japanese are the only ones eating it raw.
Haven't you tried smoked salmon?
Besides, all those Japanese restaurants can't be expecting business from only the Japanese!!!

Seriously, I eat Salmon just about any way it's served.

I'm smoking about half the catch in the picture above, it's great that way on Salads or by itself.

I'm a big fan of Sushi, etc...I should be, I spend about half of each month in Osaka and Toyko. (You wouldn't believe all the cool S2000 mags they have over there, & you see Blue stooks all over!)

Still, my favorite is grilling, it's fast and painless.
