That's not it. The car you posted is a Beetle Cup car which has a 24v VR6 under the hood. Those things are cool and fast.

As for the Turbo S, it's okay. I'd rather see it in a GTI package though.

 

Does this have the same block as the Audi TTs?

If they dropped the A4 1.8T engine in it, you can EASILY turn this car into a turbo-monster!!

 

Golf, Beatle, GTi, Jetta, A4, Passat, and TT all have the same 1.8 liter Turbo engine. 225HP TTQ is an exception with bigger turbo.

 

But, who would want to be seen driving a new bug, unless you are a women.

 

There is a tuner in Canada that puts twin turbo charged 24V VR6 and Audi TT's all wheel drive on harmless looking VWs like the new bug and the GTI. These cars can give Porsche 911 C4 a run for their money.
