Default Return Phone#'s on voicemail- lightnng speed!

For some reason i always get people who leave me a 2 minute message and right at the end they blast their return telephone number out at lightning speed so I have no chance to write it down in one shot.....

my voice mail doesn't allow me to rewind so i have to f'inig listen to their 2 minute rambling just to try to get the number....

anyone have this happen much? Just something else to bitch about.... people do it all the time though..... I should do it back to each one of them and slur all of my numbers like they...

I ALWAYS speak slowly and give my phone number 2 times just in case they missed it the first time......

One of my pet peeves. What I find incredible is that many people who work for businesses do the same thing. Don't owners/ managers train employees in proper phone use?

...oh... yes, that's annoying that people expect you to call back.

my best one was: Hello, I'm John. I'm a patient of Dr. Jones (another doctor office). I think I have an eye emergency. Can you call me back? (click). This was on a Saturday when I can not reach Dr. Jones' office to ask for John's phone#.

I like the salesmen who call and expect me to call them back. Yeah, I'm going to call so I listen to your crap. I'm actually feeling pretty lucky that I missed your call. No way am I going to call you back.
