Race for a profession
Does anybody here race for a profession?
Make a living off of it?
Here in the East Nyc Nj area?
I would like to race for a career like all those japenese people over in Japan.
any clubs like that ?

Unless you have been go-cart racing since you were like 8 years old, it's probably not going to happen. It takes decades to groom a pro race car driver.
There have been a very limited few drivers that have started amature racing carreers on their own dime later in life and become successful pro drivers - Boris Said and PD Cunningham immediately come to mind - but they are a rare exception.
Basically, if you want to get into racing, you need a small fortune to self-fund yourself as an amature driver. If you become a very successful amature driver, you might get some sponsorships to help pay for your hobby. And if you are a really sucessful amature racer, you just might be able to find someone who will pay you to drive their car.
