PS2 Online...
How many of you play online and what do you need?
It looks to me that all I need to buy is that 40 dollar modem thing and just plug my ethernet in and I'm good to go? Is there no fee or anything to play online? Just looking for more info from experienced people.

All you need is the $40 network adapter. The only games that have fees are Everquest Online Adventures and Final Fantasy XI. The rest of the games are free to play, just plug in the network adapter and either a phone line or cable/dsl connection and you're good to go. Some games require cable/dsl.

THUG and Tribes (though if you have a PC don't bother with Tribes on the PS2).
No fees, this isn't Nintendo or MS, you know
I cannot believe people pay fees to play games they paid for already. Would they pay $300 for the same game in one lump sum? Doubtful.

Games I have...
Tribes for PS2 is fun (I never played for the PC) - for $20 it's worth it.
SOCOM 1
Madden
Twisted Metal Black Online
Auto Modellista
You just need the network adapter and it's good to have a cable modem and router (I prefer linksys for routers).
