I was just arguing with a chick about this. She agreed with how it might not work, but she was saying how it shows that people are willing to stand up politically... it could be like a warning that people will stand up. I still don't see what it would do. we need gas, and they have us buy the balls. I'm not willing to give up my after work canyon runs on the bike, so they can plan on having my business for a while.

i think this is the dumbest idea. pretty much every year when the gas price goes up right before summer time this chain letter start to go around and i just want people to stop texting and emailing me this shit. personally i don't give a shit. i will actually buy gas on 15th piss those ****ers off. i know gas price is high but not buying a gas for one day doesnt do much. people are gonna either 1. fill up their tank the day before or 2. get gas the next day.

I think this could work. If May 15 turned into April to June. Anything short of that I can't imagine could tip the scales at all.
And its likely something like that could even drive prices up. Guess the only way around paying gas prices is stop using gas. I wish someone would give the chain letter writer/douchebags the memo. Stop.

my lemonade stand is open on the 14th, 15th, and 16th. i sell lemonade for $0.25/cup.
on average i sell about 8 cups of lemonade a day... an average of $2.00/day. for 3 days i can expect to make $6.00
i pissed everyone off by raising my prices to $0.25, from the usual $0.15, so everyone decides to boycott my lemonade stand for 1 day on the 15th. this is what my sales look like:
14th - i sell my usual 8 cups.
15th - i sell 2 cups.
16th - a bunch of people are really thirsty now so i sell 14 cups.
my 3 day average is still 8 cups/day, and i still make the same amount of money.
i just figured i'd dumb it down to the level of anyone who would believe this shit. logic people, LOGIC!

I'll "boycott" gasoline on May 15...................
.................provided my tank is not empty on that day.
