If Car and Driver is correct in its reporting of the 03 Nissan Z...280HP possibly 300HP 3.5L V6 convertible Z for 30K, then you S2K owners will have some serious "BANG FOR THE BUCK" competition. Actually, I'd bet the Z would beat the 4 banger, engine destroying, NSX wantabe S2000. I don't care if you think the gold Z is ugly...if so, then open your eyes, that car is beautiful, imagine it in red or black or silver!! Flame if you want, YOU KNOW I'M RIGHT!!! Good thing Honda is getting out of the sports car business next year (no more S2Ks to be built after 02 production line, acoording to Kyodo News Business section, dated 18 March 01). Afterall, they need to re-focus the U.S. public on the intro of the true bad-ass Acura supercar...the 2003 495HP turbo NSX...look out Modena, here comes trouble!! And don't say it's a Honda, IT IS NOT, IT'S AN ACURA, IF IT WAS A HONDA, THEN IT WOULD HAVE A HONDA BADGE!!

Yes, all NSX's have Honda badges overseas. How many times do you need to hear this? Acura doesn't exist off of these shores...

Have some common sense man, understand that Honda is just a brand name, other Japanesse builders can, have and will build cars that out perform the beloved S2000, take it from an X owner, there is life after the S, it's called the Z. Get ready to hear about another car called the Speedster, which will also out perform the S2K. Don't be sad, I was on the S2K band wagon too, spent way too much on accessories and still had the grinds...isn't it funny how Honda got the mags to go silent about that little problem) If you want mine, go to Pallone Nissan in Springfield, it's the red one sitting out front for $33,995...its been there since 6 OCT...go figure!!!
