So, yeah, I'm listening to a 36 minute song by the Polyphonic Spree.
It's on their first album. . . I've managed to ignore it for 2 years, but for some reason today, I feel compelled to listen to it. It's 36 minutes of a (bad) sampler playing back a human voice going 'Ooooo' or 'ahhh' in various iterations.
Yes, I like minimalist music (Reich, Glass, Adams), but man. . . this is. . . I'm not done listening to it yet, so I can't tell you whether I like it.
The overall trip kinda sucks, no dyanmic changes, and no timbre changes (it's just a crappy Casio synth and/or digital manipulation of a bad 8-bit-sounding sound).
