Do you guys prefer street racing to racing at a track?

If there were more tracks open do you think you'd go there instead of street racing?

Racing at a track. I like being able to push it without having to constantly look out for cops or dodge people stupid enough to be standing in the middle of the street.



Definitely. The only real reason I'm not at the track constantly is because I don't like the idea of waking up at 4 am on my day off to make the 2.5 hour trek out to the track. I also hate having to make another 2.5 hour drive back home after an exhausting day at the track.



It's like any intense thrill in life: a crazy rush until you stop to think about how stupid it is. There are plenty of ways "street racing" could be made completely safe, but there are just too many idiots in the world. Stupid people get themselves killed, and the intelligent few become the ones who get punished. I think it should be illegal, simply to protect idiots from themselves.

 

Street racing is stupid and dangerous. Why don't you make a real poll?

Why is it that whenever I think of the "street encounters" forum, I immediately picture this:

 

I saw a guy street racing once and the floorboard fell out of his Eclipse.

 

 

 

was the eclipse by any chance lime green with blue decals and had a fat spoiler on it? i think i might know who you're talking about...
