Bargin with the prosecutor. I don't know about CA but in IL court supervision or a reduction to a non-moving violation is always a possibility. Also, they will sometimes dismiss one for a guilty plea on another. As a last resort, set them both for trial. If the arresting officer doesn't show, move for dismissal for want of prosecution. This is unlikely to happen since you have two tickets, (both cops blowing the court date) but who knows, you may get lucky. By far the best advice is HIRE A LAWYER. You'd be surprised what a good traffic guy can do. Good luck.
