Post whores suck when they come in and totally screw up non Corner threads!

 

i'm sorry for the question i'm about to ask. I know what a post whore is, but please give me a clear example of a post whore threat. I'v never actually read a thread and been like DAMN he is a post whore. I hope I'm not on anyones ignore list.

I managed to somehow overflow mine -- it reset! I've only gotten around to adding 4 of the 20+ names back on the list. Although I only need to see one post by some people to remember why they were on the list. More often than not, it's quality of posts rather than quantity that result in them ending up on the list.

I'm not sure how Sondra is being mean. Frankly, the post whoring is beyond the point of being ridiculous. The thread you are referring to (what the f^ck do you look like?) was a good thread for about 6-7 pages, then a small group of people turned it into their personal sex chat for the remaining 7 or 8 pages and effectively ruined it for the other 200-300 people who might have been following it. Moving it to the corner was unfortunately the appropriate response.

Do you honestly believe the PW threads actually add anything to this site? They're completely unrelated to the S2000, cars, heck they're so pointless that they don't even qualify as OT. This site ultimately is about the S2000, no about what you or andy_pandy or mrkim ate for breakfast this morning.

That can be difficult when some people make it a point of posting something, no matter how meaningless, in nearly every thread on the site. There's no way somebody can submit 50+ posts in a day and have anything good to say.

For the record, I only have 1 PW on my ignore list, simply because his posts are so bad that I consider them to be a waste of bandwidth. The other people on ignore are there because of their attitude problems.

 

I tend to agree with WestSideBilly. I don't care if people have PW threads, coz if I don't want to read them I simply do not click on them - therefore it affects me none. However, when good threads go bad that's another story. In the case of the what the f^ck do you look like thread, this is what happened. I guess we should have known it would turn into a PW thread though, since a PW started it
