i am a new member
i just joined this great site on saturday and i am interested in buying an S2000. The stook has been my favorite car since it came out and i even remeber the MotorTrend Article where they called it the the SSX and i even have a photo of me a long time ago infront of the concept car. This was definetly the car for me even in 8th grade. Had you asked me 2 weeks ago what car i wanted (i will be getting a new car when my parents finish the new house) i would have said the WRX. This ofcourse was before i had even though about the S2000 assuming that it was out of my range (25-28k) even used. Then i found one for udner 28k and i went nuts. I found the car at autotrader.com at 5 30 and made the treck to the dealership (normally a 1 1/2hr trip) reaching it at 6 30. i drove the car and that 9000rpm engine made me fall in love again with the car. For those interested i currently live in Bayonne, NJ (which for those with maths is rite next to Jersey CIty, which in turn is across the river from Manhattan). My family will be moving to our new home in Staten Island in about Jan or Feb and i will get a new car (my car has 55k miles on it) around april. thank you and i look forward to a long memebership and to my S2000!!!!!

The st**k is a long standing joke on the board. Many people use it all the time, many people dislike the word. You have to decide which side of the fence to sit on this one
Without getting into the whole debate (has happened many times) of the derivation of the term "rice", it is used by many people to describe cars that have been modified with spoilers, wide wheels, chrome, big exhaust pipes, stickers & logos, but that is bascially still stock under the hood. Very often used for basic Civics and the like that have "Type R" logos on them.

A lot of the non-owners use on-line photo storage sites (like photoshop which seems to have just closed down ) and then link to that site.
As an example, here is a photo out of my photo album on this site......
