How many speeding tickets since sweet 16???
#11
Been driving about 9 years - had 1 speeding fine (speed camera)...about 14km/h above limit (8-9 mph?) at 2am on a multilaned road with no traffic....that speed limit is definitely set too low on that road.
I would like to see road with electronic speed limit signs that react to the number of cars on the road and the conditions, so that on a good night with no cars the limit might get raised above normal on a straight road, rather than stay the same.
We have some like this on our motorways but they only react to bad conditions and lower the limit to below normal (and don't take into account the amount of traffic).

if it is speeding ticket less than 20 mph over the speedin limit, most time Jury just knock the points off.
if it is over 20mph it really depends on jury/police officer and town.
Most time they just give knock it down to 2 points but u will still can show the driver record(it has to be CLEEEAN record) and most time jury gives you 0 points
if it is more than 30+ ...I usualy hire lawyer for it.

In 15 years of driving I would say I have had +/- 20 tickets, all speeding. I never had a clear driving record until I went to work overseas I was pulled over 5 days after I received a license and have been getting them ever since. It is nice to finally have a clear driving record (S insurance is only $100 a month for full coverage). As long as I stay out of the states I am fine

I have received 1 speeding ticket in 40 years of driving. 1995 Ennis TX last car in a line going 20 over the speed limit. I bet driving my new red TransAm had nothing to do with the stop.
I have been stopped a few other times but the officer has been good enough to let me go with a verbal. The best is driving from Columbus Ohio to Washington Ct. House and I was stopped on the interstate. It was very late (early?). The officer looked at my license and started into a dissertation that this is not Texas and that Ohio watches their limits. At the end of the speech he let me know that he was from Dallas and that I need to take it a little easier in Ohio.

I have had 4..... that is... 1 tickets from the ages of 15 to 26 (before the s2000) and 3 tickets from 26-27 (during the s200 ownership). I guess it doens't help that the car is yellow. It's almost like the cops are eager to pull over the yellow s2000 as they seem excited when they pull me over.
I have never received a warning in the s2000 either. Not even for 12 over in a 55 in a VERY lightly traveled country road on a 75 degree sunny day.
Profiling doens't exist my A$$.
