Ever heard of the "Ming" Dynasty? My family had nothing to do with it

Actually, when you consider the number of criminals, traitors etc who have been knighted in the past, it ain't nothing to be proud of.

Those that are not British can get the OBE, Order of the British Empire. It's the closest to Knighthood
I believe that's what Spielberg got.
However, there may be a person in your history which could lead to an identification of "Lordship", but then you may owe back taxes to the Queen! So be careful.

unfortunately Ming Dynasty's emperors had last names of "Chou" And though Ming Dynasty is well known for its fine pottery and works of art, the emperors were generally pretty $hitty, and helping Korea out against the invasion by Toyotomi Hideyoshi the monkey general didn't help very much either. By the time the Manchurians came knocking, the Ming Dynasty was exhausted by internal uprisings and external enemies.

Interesting history! Those empires rise and fall, as is proven throughout history. Seems to be a pattern there...
To put it bluntly, I think "Knighthood" is a crock of shit. A title is only a name, after all. Names do not impress me, I judge every person on an individual basis.
When history is evaluated with an enlightned and inteligent mind, it all comes out in the wash.
