Default Honda Proving ground in America?? Is there one

I was wondering if there was a proving ground in America that honda does some of its research at. Since it is really hot here in Phoenix, Ford and Chrysler both have them so does GM but they are packing it up and going down to Mexico "Because it is hotter there" That is BS because they only need to have 100 employees down there and it is cheapier labor and such.

Sorry about the rant.

But do any of you know if there is one. Thanks

Honda R&D Americas does some testing at TRC's facility north of Columbus, OH. TRC (Transportation Research Company or something like that) has a 7.5 mile oval track and other testing facilities. Honda also tests in the southern states, but I don't think they have an actual facility - they probably test out of the AHM headquarters in Torrence. Some high speed testing is done in Germany.

Specifically, it's in Raymond, Ohio, where Honda makes the Accord, Acura CL, and I believe the Honda Civics. Pretty cool facility.

It's also just outside Marysville, OH, which is home of one of the two (or three?) factory authorized new car dealers that carries the Lamborghini Diablo. Quite the experience to visit that place, especially if you're lucky enough to watch someone taking delivery on the $275,000 car!

Not that anyone cares...just killin time on a Friday afternoon!
