Went shooting Sunday for the first time in 16 years
Started with the Ruger 9mm
Went to both of our Mossberg AR .22LR's, would've been nice to take the Colt out though
Moved to one of the 1911's my dad has
Finished with my Winchester 20ga. 14yrs old, first time it's been shot.
Had a .22 Beretta and .22 revolver in the mix, but no pics.
All in all, fun day with about 5hrs at the range.
Going to be fun to get back into this as a regular thing.
Was the exact opposite for me.
The 9mm I was using seemed to have a lot more recoil than the .45 did.

Well yeah when your shooting David vs Goliath there haha. That little sr9 will have heavy recoil compared to a full steel 1911. But compare like and M&P 9mm to .45 you will notice a differance. Even my aluminum framed 1911 has heavier recoil that my old sig pro 9mm I had.

^^^If those are your first guns very very nice choices.
The P226 is like a 1911, once you shoot it you just find it is perfect in every way.
