Glock (can you say "Glock leg?"), Springfield XD, pffft! I still prefer my Walther P99. But Glock had it going on way before the others. Have to admit, their 1st generation G17 just about started the polymer gun revolution and was instantly adopted by anti-terrorist forces almost everywhere.

NOT cool to aim a gun at anyone LOADED... even if its for the photo
dont aim it unless you aim to use it
hope you did not give this gun to your ltlle bro to take the photo...
look at the bunkbed in the background... young kid with gun
please be careful with guns
Listen, I know your lookin for any excuse to criticize someone to make yourself look like a big man but chill out. Take time to actually read things or you may make an idiotic statement. The camera was on a timer. There are 5 weapons safety rules and I will go over them for everyone, check to see if I violated any of them.
1. Treat every weapon as if it was loaded.
2.Never point your weapon at anything you do not intend to destroy.(shooting my camera would kinda suck though)
3.Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you intend to fire.
4. Keep your weapon on safe until you intend to fire.
5.Know your target and consider its backrounds.
I have the utmost respect for firearms. BTW that was my parents house and that was my old room. I am a U.S Marine and handle weapons all the time (safely) Thanks for the attempted safetly lesson though!

No guns, but if you break into my house, get off a round quick, I have a giant machette and I love the way it chops through stuff.

I like it, I just don't think Springfield has the trigger down right yet. At this point Glock remains a proven entity, the copycats will have to wait a few years to enjoy that confidence.
Are you saying Glock makes the best trigger in terms of mechanical reliability?
Or best in terms of feel during travel? I think Sig and HK have better triggers
in terms of feel.

Mmm, I like the Sig 228/229/226 triggers way more than my HK USP's trigger.

Probably neither. I really don't like the feel of my 23 -- but I don't dislike it enough to have it worked either.

I have three rifles. I still need to get my hand gun permit filled out and apply for my license. I have a Bushmaster M4 AR15, an AK47 (Romanian), and a Hi-Point 9mm (my first gun, I use it at the indoor range). Here is a pic of my M4 :
