AKA glock rip-off without the Glock benefits.
Typical comment from a glock fanboy.

We'll see who is ripping off who now that Springfield has come out with the .45 ACP. Glock is falling behind.. they WERE the best, now there is competition. Nothin' wrong with that.

i pack!! i have a small arsenal that tends to grow just a bit every local gun show the good old secret compartment is loaded
I thought about keeping my revolver there too, but decided that I wouldn't be able to retrieve it fast enough under the circumstances which would require its retrieval.

My ex-husband has a small arsenal too, especially since he's military. I wish I could keep one of his wedding presents...a used M1 Garand from the Korean War.

Definitely designed as the springfield response to glock. I fired a whole range of glocks, because everyone told me they are great but it they just never fit right for me. I wasn't capable of firing rounds off in a way that was satisfactory to me. It's just my own personal whatever, not an indication of which one is better or worse. I'd rather of loved the glock, you can get almost anything for it. I picked up a SA-XD 9 and I instantly shot well, it was an extension of my hand. There is no substitute for a gun that feels like that for an individual. I fired a few sigs too, heavy but so damn balanced that it too felt like an extension of my hand. I just wanted a smaller, lighter handgun. No one can damn the glock, but the SA-XD is a fine piece of work too. I have the laser/tactical light from insite. I don't use it but I like the idea of it if I'm defending myself. Right now I leave it unloaded, I'm not comfortable enough with it to use it in a self defense situation. I don't want to be make the mistake of reaching for a handgun to defend myself when I think even in an armed situation I'd do better with a knife. I don't want to kill the neighbors. When I put another 1000 rounds through it I might feel different. Actually I'd use the mark first because at 15 yards I hit the black every time even when I rapid fire from a draw. I'm comfident that I'd get sever head shots in between the bed and the door.

LOL calm down, that was a joke -- the same thing you read everytime the gun comes up on a forum.

I like it, I just don't think Springfield has the trigger down right yet. At this point Glock remains a proven entity, the copycats will have to wait a few years to enjoy that confidence.
