so I checked out a few guns today. My buddy just got a FAL
he might be willing to sell me, I also looked at the Carbon-15 with a sweet sweet red dot scope/sight. Its fiber optic with no light visibility. the dot just hovers in the reticle, no matter where you look into it, the dot will always be where the gun is shooting. Awesome for two-eyed tactial stuff, very similar to the EOTech, but without sight-crowding.
I also looked at a Benelli tactical 12 guage. hmm...all of these are badass. Unfortunatly, all the handguns were gfone to the gunshow, so I could check out my beloved p99...maybe next time.
anyone have experience with any of these weapons?

I just picked up a XM-15 E2S, M4-gery. E0-tech holo sight, went shooting today with the XM-15 and a M44 Mosin Nagant.
The Nagant carbine's report drew the most attention at the range. Even though I couldn't hit a target at 100 yards. The 150$ Russian surplus beast was prom queen today over the flashy holo-sighted XM-15.
The sore shoulder was worth it.

Just to show we can still own firearms in the UK although I would definitely not consider myself 'packing'. Here self defence is not a lawful/good reason to be permitted to get a firearms licence so you will have to forgive our quaint ways
Walther G22 semi auto .22LR
Benelli Nova pump action 12ga all tricked up
IZHMASH Tigr 7.62x54R (basically Dragunov SVD manufactured to straight pull action for UK laws)

that vid is amazing. like a video game.
no guns except for the my dad's old colt 45 and s&w 38 and 38 bullet that look like bb's in a shotgun shell.(for stunning?) the 45 has a bunch of hollow points. are those illegal?
just sits in the safe. never learned to shoot. more of an heirloom.
i'm not even sure if i can register them. neither of them have safety's.

If it's a Colt model 1911 it actually has 2 safety's. One on the grip, the other to lock the slide.
Cocked and locked is how most carry a .45 The hammer will be back, a round chambered and the slide locked.
