One word guys why the GT series doesn't have it, "Licensing".

EA has alot of sole rights to certain marques and cars which they probably secured during the early days of Need for Speed. You'll notice all the Porsche's in the GT series are RUFs since they are technically (as sanctioned by Germany) their own automotive company.

It would be nice to drive anything from a 250 GTO to an Enzo in the games but I have enough fun with what cars there are that I don't miss 'em

Your right to an extent, but for once i would like to run a 360 modena on a trail mountain or laguna.

That is one thing that would be very cool to have, real tracks. PGR2 is all city tracks. There are a lot of advantages to that (they can have 10 completely different tracks off of one model) but I would love to be able to race on Road America, Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio, Road Atlanta, etc, etc.

They need to combine both games into one HELLA-COOL combo where all the cars and tracks from GT4 and PGR2 were available.
