i remember one time, i was speeding around a bend and i was going probably 65 in a 45 and the cop was on the right shoulder pointing his gun at me. I knew right away that he got me, since i was the only car on the road.

What did i do? i quickly pulled 3 lanes over and stopped about 4 car lengths in front of his car and waited for him. He slowly inched up and got out.

He didn't asked me at all if i was speeding. He just said. Wow, you knew you were speeding huh. I said yeah, gotta play to pay. no sense in denying it sir.

He said. if everyone was like you, my job would be easier. He went back to his car, and i thought he was writing a ticket. came back, and said. you checked out fine. i'm giving you a warning. take it slower around here. we love hiding in this place.

I think we don't give cops enough credit. you usually only hear about the bad ones.

 

Never admit to anything. When I get pulled over the first thing I do is let them know that I am armed, hand them my license and concealed weapons permit and let them decide where to go from there. 80% of the time they won't even ask for my registration or proof of insurance. Usually they just check out the license and CCW and tell me to have a nice night.

Occasionally they will ask for registration and insurance but I have yet to have any cop call any of my info in after I give it to them. No tickets yet. I guess they figure that if I have a valid CCW I am not a fugitive or a felon so they are going to get nothing out of it but a traffic citation.

he knows I was whether I admit it or not and can give me a ticket anyway

 

I just tell the officer: "Sir, you don't want to talk to me, you should talk to KITT"

All I gotta say is I got a ticket for "speeding" when I wasnt. The officer said I was doing 80+ even though I was under 60. He didnt think the humongus digital dash was good enough!!
