Man, you sure do hate the popo's!

I do have to say that not all cops are so bad. I've personally met a few pretty cool cops.
I completely agree, there are some awesome cops out there. Im just feeding the trolls with my overzealous attitude. My beef is with the crooked cops and then the ones who dont call out and clean up the dirty cops.

Try this...

I live in Utah, had Utah plates, and was driving through Nebraska... Nebraska cop pulls me over and gives me a fix-it ticket for not having a front plate, I tell him that my car is registered in Utah, not Nebraska... He says "well, its the law in Utah" I asked "since when can Nebraska Highway Patrol enforce Utah laws?" He gives me the runaround...

Honestly, I just skimmed though the majority of your post. I do apologize if I missed anything important. You obviously have more time and effort than I to try and do all this research.

Like I said, for the third time, I'm not arguing that you can't get injured from the plate! I'm not sure what you don't understand about that.

Tomorrow, I'm going to find all the loose change and small pieces of dirt that has fallen in my car because I think the article stated something about a BB could severely damage some part of your eye. If anything, it'll be a good excuse to clean up my car.

You could always get a vanity plate.

I'm just curious, can you please explain to me how my "online attitude" gave you the impression this?

I'm not dumb. I'm not going to question him pulling me over before recieving a ticket. Why would I care what I say or ask him after he's given me a ticket. Especially since he's admitted that he would rather pull somebody over for no front plate than speeding.

But honestly, I really don't care what you or the cop thinks.
You should care what you say afterward. You will become a target for later stops if he knows you have the slightest bit of attitude. What is questioning going to prove besides just plain giving him a hard time in order to satisfy your ego a little bit.
You know he will tell is coworkers "Look out for that young guy in the S2000, he was a douche to me yesterday..." They will find reasons to stop you again and again until you get the point that regardless of how right you think you are, they will win.

Lol I just got the "no front licence plate" ticket as well from a sheriff a few months back... Luckily for some reason he didn't get me for loud exhaust or tinted windows though. The bad part is that there was no front license plate when I got the car, since it was in an accident. Now I have to pay to get a new set of license plates
