Default Finally got ticketed for no front plates

After 3+ years of no front plates I finally got my $116 ticket... No warning, nothing.. and my driving record has been spotless.

I've always had it in my window but this cop threatened to write me another ticket just for having it there.

I have a friend that was pulled over and the cop said it's fine to keep it in the window.... Just as long as it's visible. I guess he was wrong. I'm just mad because he seemed to stereotype me. Stating that, "you guys think it looks better without it in the front"... too bad it's true...

I told him I saw several other people speeding past me, why dind't he pull them over since speeding is more dangerous... He responded, "so you think I should write tickets based on how dangerous the misconduct is?"

As I was waiting for my ticket I counted atleast 15 other cars that had no front plates. (I was pulled over on the highway) I asked just for fun him if he picks specific cars he pulls over for no front plates and if he ever pulled over a mini van or a truckfor not front plates... He said, "of course, I even pulled over a lambo, too"

They generally let it go in Ohio, here. KY requires no front plate. My proximity to KY may help -- that or the fact that I'm not a mouthy youth.

I wasn't mouthy until after I got the ticket.
You know damn well he doesn't go looking for mini vans or suvs.. It's a double standard.

I guesss 3+ years of no front plates for $116 is worth it.

I'm glad you didn't start another "Please S2KI, I got a ticket, What do I do?" thread.
3 years was to good to be true. I'm getting really close.

Sucks, in Texas you just show the judge a picture of the front LP on the car and they'll usually dismiss it.
