Default The fan on my graphics card stopped working! What should I do?

Hi, I just noticed some strange sounds from the inside of my computer, so I opened it up and saw that the fan on my 128 MB nVidia GeForce 4 was slowing down, and it eventually stopped altogether. I bought this about a year ago. Any suggestions? Will this card eventually heat up and do damage to my motherboard? Help!

It would more likely damage the card itself. You need either a replacement fan or card the way I see it.

You can try what these guys said, but depending on which card you have, you'll probably fry it at some point. Try playing with the fan, they aren't that delicate. If your card is a year old, it's probably time for an upgrade anyways hehehe, any excuse to get new shit

Get the Cardcooler XT (www.cardcooler.com) I have a Spare one (used for about 2 hrs) if u want to buy it. ill let it go for 25 bucks (picked it up for 34) I bought it to cool my whole system and everything else but i bought a Cooler Master case that comes with 5 cooling fans so i dont need this one. If your card is less than a year old, can you get it replaced under warranty?
