Default Euro Plates in America?

Just wondering...is it possible to have a car registered in America, Cali specifically...and have the numbers on a "Euro" Plate...I just think that those plates fit the S much nicer and if it were possible, I'd love to be able to do that

No, you can't do it. Unlike many other countries, it's illegal to have anything other than an 'official' plate on your car.

If your state doesn't require a front plate, you could put a Euro plate on the front, but that's it.

even if it were legal, you'd still have to change out your rear bumper to accommodate the plate size

I've seen it out here too. Maybe Euro delivery cars have them on before they get thier real plates. Usually I see Mexicans doing that, I guess they think they are all strait from Spain.

Perhaps I can chime in. In my state, you will get pulled over and fined for having any other kind of plate, other than the one issued by the state.
