I was driving a buddy's new Mercedes to a business function and ended up behind a left hand hog. I flashed the headlights. A couple of times.

The car owner then chimed in "I never pull over for some guy who flashes his lights at me!"

To which the other three guys in the car responded in unison: "That's because you're an ***hole!"

In Ohio the folks with Franklin County (Columbus) and Summit County (Akron) just stay in the left lane all the time. I see them merge from the on-ramps and go immediately far left and just sit there. Don't mistake us for "too important" drivers -- we have to weave in and out of traffic or we'd never get any place.

PS -- The list omits the cell phone talkers/texters who don't use cruise control and drift all over the road.

Really encountered all of that? I'd hate to have been the passenger.

My passenger was an 8 year old...he was too busy watching videos in the back.

You forgot the trucker that pulls out to pass another trucker, at a speed differential of .05 mph ... stacking up a line of 40 cars behind him in the process.

For the most part, they're good drivers, but I've never understood this particular idiocy.

.05-2mph delta over a lot of miles = 1.)getting there on-time 2.)maintaining the speed set by the shipping company 3.)maximizing gas usage to either the shippers or owner-operator's target

However, yes, it's a PITA on a 4-lane (2up/2down) freeway.
