I havent ever had this happen before, but it happened twice today. Curious how many other people it has happened to.

First encounter: A F250 crawling down the left lane (30 in a 45) so I switch lanes and begin to pass. He suddenly floors it, spewing a huge cloud of smoke out "at" me. Thankfully I was already passed and well on my way.

Second encounter: Dodge Turbo Diesel driving down the right lane, decent speed. I just come toodling up and he punches it to cloud the area and when I fall back, he resumes his speed. I come up again and he punches it again, to which I just VTEC through and go on down the road.

Third encounter: ALIENS!


The downside to living in a still-redneck area (not to stereotype).
Anyone else?

 

Yeah I get that here in Tupelo every once in a while. Guys put those Bully Dog programmers n shit on their trucks makes them do that. lol.

 

yeah, I've gotten that too. Guy with F-250 thinks he's quicker than anything on the street and tries to smoke me out. I accelerate around him and to him at 40mph, that means instant a-hole driving, he tries to keep up with me and by the mid of 3rd, I have 3 cars on him and he backs off.

 

Diesels are fast. My friend had a built dually and it would keep up with my S.

An 18 wheeler saw I was coming up fast behind and tried to take up two lanes so I couldn't pass(literally driving on the dotted line). I zipped around him easy and he honked, then I gave him the birdie.

You can make diesels accelerate quick, but my top speed is 95 mph and I'm at redline, but I will get there QUICK.

I think my dually is faster than a stock S2000 in the 1/4 mile.

 

... and then comes turn 1....

 

 

yeah darn diesels and their like 100lbs of boost haha.

ive heard stories of those trucks beating for example a wrx.....while towing a trailer. (freeway story).

but then again they like 5000lbs global warming on wheels.

 

I used to have a 77 Rabbit diesel. Downshift two gears, floor it, instant smelly blackout conditions for the tailgater. I was an asshole at the time. Now I'm just an asshole without a Rabbit diesel.
