the shoot was clean and justifiable

the cop has a duty to protect himself and all the other possible people on the road

good shoot IMHO

wow.

the cop did what he had to do. in the cops shoes, i'd have thought to try trashing the transmission if that was an option, but it sounds like the cop was justified. pity the guy had to be that stupid, and it's probably much much better for the cop that he died.

He should have got his craftsman tool belt on and climbed under the car and dropped the oil plug and then climbed back in the car and found a rubber band, a paper clip, and a a hollowed out bic pen and made a make shift Ford MyKey as a back up in case the motor didn't seize up in the next 1/4 mile and if all of that didn't work, then ask him with a please. THEN maybe use the gun.
