Couldn't the cop shoot the kid in the legs or something? Either way the kids a dumbshit and is making his family suffer greatly for total lack of thought

Here's an even better idea. Don't drive off with a cop in your car and then accelerate when he tells you to stop.

The kids parents should be arrested for attempting to sue over that. STUPID PARENTS raised a stupid kid. They should be held accountable.
