I wish I could go to base legal to talk to someone, but I don't have the time. I fly A LOT. I fly as an instructor, and I train the no0bs how to do thier job in the air on the jet. There is a lot of students and only a handful of instructors.

Very fast paced job. I get a lot of flying hours, but the downside is I'm just too busy to do things for me. Let alone all the time I spend in the sims and in the class rooms teaching students...

File a claim with your insurance and let them take care of it. That is what you pay them for.

I know your AWAC flights are long, do you have any communications access while up there?

Again, sorry you are in such a shitty situation.

Alright, here are some comparable vehicles available in the local market area:

$5,995: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...r_id=269574046

$4,995: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...r_id=265264959

$4,000: http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/1565526153.html

$3,995: http://tulsa.craigslist.org/ctd/1543816413.html

Plus I just looked up the NADA value for myself and am pretty convinced that they should be offering you at least $4,000.

Here's a link to the statutes that explains the methods of determining the amount of your settlement: Title 36, Chapter 1, Article 12A-1, Section 1250.8. Sounds like, if they don't comply, they could be in violation of the Unfair Claims Settlement Practices Act.

Seriously, take a minute to fill out the Request for Assistance form and let the Insurance Department help you. That's what they're there for:

Oklahoma Insurance Department Mission
To protect and enhance the financial security of Oklahoma and Oklahomans.

insurance alway try and rape. Unless you have a butt-load of cash or a bunch of cars they kinda have you buy the nuts, most people need the payout to buy another car so they take the lowball offer.

I've had 2 experiences dealing with insurance and have succefully played hardball both times. First car I was offered 6000, I ended up walking away with a check for 10700, second time was offered 2800 & I ended up walking away with a check for 4300 and keeping the car as a buy back. Show them comparables in your area and they should raise the offer

I always thought USAA was a great place to deal with. I've heard nothing but great things... but them low balling me really pisses me off.

Wonder what they'd offer me on my brand new house if a tornado tore it up... $1... I hate insurance companies.
