A cop totaled out my winter car...

I know I looked at all that, but that is not what insurance uses...
I'm just wondering why NADA, and KBB have it listed at 47-4800 and insurance is only offering me 2800. I'll be in the hole $1000.
I went to a credit union to see how much they would loan out on it, and they said 5000... so what the EFF yo?

I just don't know what to do... I don't make a lot of money, especially not enough to let $1000 just float away.
I'll be out a GREAT vehicle, and $1000... kinda crappy seeing as I was getting off work and not doing anything wrong...
God hates me.

I feel for you man. Did you hear from the police? They should pay at least what you paid plus rental car. Look into a lawyer if the police's side doesn't ante up. A friend had someone get a lawyer after him and his insurance after a minor accident. They got the full 50k off of the policy.

I haven't heard a word from the police. It took me about 2 hours of non stop calling my insurance just to hear that crap...
I should call a lawyer, but I don't know anything about that stuff, so I'm sure I'll get put through it there too.
I really need serious help with this.
