How much do you guys think a '98 Blazer 4x4 with 120,000 miles is worth?

I know I looked at all that, but that is not what insurance uses...

I'm just wondering why NADA, and KBB have it listed at 47-4800 and insurance is only offering me 2800. I'll be in the hole $1000.

I went to a credit union to see how much they would loan out on it, and they said 5000... so what the EFF yo?

and www.nadaguides.com, too. Didn't you just buy that Blazer? Do you have a Bill of Sale you can show them?

They don't care how much I paid for it. I told her how much I will owe and she said "'98 blazers just aren't going for much these days, I'm sorry."

I just don't know what to do... I don't make a lot of money, especially not enough to let $1000 just float away.

I'll be out a GREAT vehicle, and $1000... kinda crappy seeing as I was getting off work and not doing anything wrong...

God hates me.

I feel for you man. Did you hear from the police? They should pay at least what you paid plus rental car. Look into a lawyer if the police's side doesn't ante up. A friend had someone get a lawyer after him and his insurance after a minor accident. They got the full 50k off of the policy.

I haven't heard a word from the police. It took me about 2 hours of non stop calling my insurance just to hear that crap...

I should call a lawyer, but I don't know anything about that stuff, so I'm sure I'll get put through it there too.

I really need serious help with this.
