Just be warned if you disable the X band then you won't get warnings of the cops who use X band.
That's one of the sneaky things Arizona has been doing to go along with their mobile speed cameras. I know they've stopped using the speed cameras but they've still go the X band equipment.
They would send out 3-4-5-6 cops to surround the speed cameras. This would overwhelm all the radar detectors but the V1. You'd see the first cop and think the danger was over, but with the V1 you'd know it wasn't.
At least one of the cops would have an X band detector so most people would ignore it or have their filters up so high that it didn't go off until too late.

I like the GPS features of the 9500 series. Adding known speed trap alerts, locking out known sources, and going silent at lower speeds are big pluses to me.
