Gee.. I dunno. If you're lying down already you could probably get that X-brace installed. It's just a matter of getting lifted from the bed to the floor of your garage

I've had 2 hernia surgeries, one the traditional procedure and one authroscopic with a Gore-Tex patch. I worked for Gore and asked the doc if I get a discount. He told me its not the parts that'll cost you, its the labor. Try biting on a bullet or just think about better days ahead driving your stook. Seriously, dont overdo it. I went back to work too soon and paid the price. Good Luck, the pain will subside soon, just take it easy. [QUOTE]Originally posted by nvmys2k:
[B]It sucks!!!Special order from my doctor: I can't drive my car for 2 weeks because of my large hernia surgery...Surgery went well but it fvcking HURTS! I've been laying on the bed for the last 3 days. It's getting better but I can hardly walk so I think I will obey the doctor's order for now. My Spoon X brace arrived but I can't install it yet

How long did it take before you recover? It's been @5 days and I'm still in pain? Any advises for the novice?
