Who did the police say is at fault? Kind of hard to gauge, but since yellow means "caution" it might not be in your favor..

 

Well I couldn't stop. I would have been in the middle of the intersection. It had just turned yellow when I was about 10 feet from the crosswalk on my side.

There was no police. The other driver said it was his fault and I have an appointment with ICBC on thurs.

 

Yea, definitely sounds like it's his fault. If you were in the intersection while the light was still yellow, there's no reason he should've made the left turn.
