There was a photoshop rendition some time ago on an S2000-based sedan. You may or may not have seen it:

The rumor is for a coupe, but any varient is hard to believe. Why would Honda want to step on the Accord and Integra market with another car?

don't see it happening.
the S2000 is part of the long heritage of the Honda "S" cars and i don't really see Honda turning one car from that history into a "platform".
also, this would require Honda to turn out even more cars from that one line.
finally, they'd create competition for the RSX as well as the rumoured 6 speed 6 cylinder Accord.
just my $0.02 worth.

iVTEC is a new thing that came out this year (i think the MT 2002's will use them, dunno) that supposedly have lower emissions and better torque, but 10 less hp. THere's a post on it somewhere.

from a manufacturing perspective, if the S2000 is hand built along side the NSX, it would be pretty advantagous to try to produce a coupe or a sedan version of the S2000 without planning on a full production line. there are many costs associated with introducing a new platform, i don't think honda needs to add another... they've had such success with the accord already. $0.02.
