Not true, because I'd be taking all the long ways to get places with you sittin' next to me!

That said, I think it's interesting that I haven't had a ticket in Guinness since I bought her. 9k miles without getting pulled over has got to be some sort of record for me!

 

Haven't had a ticket since I was 18. I'm 29 now.
Course, I probably just jinxed myself for admitting that.

 

I was thinking the same thing after my last post...

 

I didn't get my first one in the S til after owning her for a year!

 

Got my first speeding ticket in 4 years, just one week after buying the S.

 

No tickets since that string of bad luck in 1987. I got three of them in a 2 month period:

64 in a 55 (going with flow of traffic)
63 in a 55 (tagged me merging into fast traffic from an on-ramp. Traffic was doing 65)
Illegal turn (2AM and no traffic)

Nothing since. I wised up a lot since then.

 

Been busted twice in the S for excessive speeds.

First time was about 6 months after I got the S and my wife and I were heading back from Chicago. Got busted for doing 90 in a 65 zone in Wisconsin. Paid a fat fine!!!

Second time was just a few months ago. Got busted doing 87 in a 55 zone. My laywer got that dismissed
