Anyone actually go into a movie theatres anymore?
Unless it's a movie that requires big screen and kick ass sound, my wife and I usually wait for the DVD to come out and rent it or buy it - beats paying for the ticket plus the food.

You know Rich, I didn't notice till you pointed it out
I almost always wait for the DVD... I prefer to watch movies in the comfort of my home, and my system, short of a little smaller screen is just as good as a theatre anyway.

I hate the fact that movies are overpriced and so often overhyped. The people are usually rude and won't shut up during the movie. I can wait the 6-12 months for the movie to come out on DVD.

I go only if it is either a movie I'm dying to see and can't wait, or if it's going to have sweet special effects that I want to enjoy on a big screen. It's rare though. My next for sure theater movie will be Matrix 2!

I usually go to the movies like once every 2 weeks, I like the feel of watching a movie in a movie theater, especially since I don't have a DVD player (sold my PS2), and the movie experience is also cool if u have a big one near you... In terms of price, ya, it's expensive, but I'd spend that much if I did something else, and you could cut down on the costs by not getting food there (big rip-off), going to matinees, or going on tuesdays...
